These terms are an agreement between your organization and LabPath Logistics (“LabPath”, “we”, “us”), a medical courier service operating in Greater Houston, Texas. By registering an account, booking a delivery, or using the LabPath website or mobile app, you accept them. Our services are offered to healthcare businesses only.
Facility accounts are for clinics, laboratories, pharmacies, and similar healthcare organizations. You agree to provide accurate registration information — including your facility name, NPI, and Tax ID (EIN) — and to keep it current. New facilities are reviewed by a person before booking unlocks, typically within one business day. Courier accounts are provisioned by LabPath; there is no courier self-registration. You are responsible for activity under your credentials, and you can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account).
Every booking shows an upfront, all-in quote before you confirm — the price you see is the price you are invoiced. Estimated pickup and delivery times are honest, distance-based estimates, not guarantees: traffic and physics are real, and we do not promise fixed-minute pickups. What we commit to is immediate dispatch of your booking and communication within 15 minutes of any incident that affects your delivery. Pending bookings that have not been accepted by a courier can be cancelled in the app.
You are responsible for ensuring that items tendered to a courier are accurately declared, lawfully shippable, and packaged and labeled according to the regulations that apply to them (for example, UN 3373 triple packaging for Category B biological substances). Couriers may decline items that are undeclared, improperly packaged, or outside the service’s declared scope. Do not include patient-identifying paperwork outside sealed packaging.
Runs are documented with barcode verification at pickup, status history, receiver name and signature at drop-off, and a hand-off photo where applicable. These records are retained as business records and are available to the facility that booked the run. Retention continues after account deletion to preserve the integrity of past custody chains.
Service is month-to-month with no volume minimums. Completed runs are invoiced on Net-15 terms at the quoted price. Questions about an invoice go to dispatch@labpathlogistics.com and are answered by a person.
We stand behind our handling procedures, and where a written service-level agreement applies, its remedies (such as service credits) are your exclusive remedy for missed commitments. To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, LabPath’s total liability for any claim arising from a delivery is limited to the fees paid for that delivery, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including the clinical or business value of specimen contents. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Do not misuse the website or app: no attempts to access other organizations’ records, no interference with the service’s operation, and no use of the platform for anything other than legitimate medical logistics. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or present a safety or compliance risk.
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Contact: dispatch@labpathlogistics.com — LabPath Logistics, Houston, TX. See also our Privacy Policy.
